Couple New Plarail Thomas Things

Hobby Search has listed a couple new Thomas items for pre-order and a July release.

At least it seems Tomy still have the Thomas licence in Japan if they are still releasing new items

At first I was hoping that the first link was a Steam Along Thomas redesign, but it seems to be a sound-controlled Thomas set. I really like this version of him, but he does seem a little disproportioned. Ah, well. Still seems like it'd be fun.

I also hope that the Pororon Station is a one-time thing. I'd love to see some more, as Leokimvideo says, items that look and feel like Sodor, rather than a bunch of stunt pieces, or, in this case, a magical rainbow land. Sure, Sodor is supposed to be "a storybook land of wonder," but that's because there are talking trains and beautiful scenery. A good idea would to implement a lights and sounds feature or a preschool learning technique into an already existing destination in the show. They could've made the station where Henry and Thomas meet on his branchline with the same features as the Pororon Station.
