I have to be honest in that I thought that these Shinkalion trains wouldn't last this long but they sure must be very popular for them to keep releasing new ones. How many trains have they made now?
The show is crazy popular in Japan right now. They've figured out that inter-generational appeal.
E3 Tsubasa Iron Wing was the only one of the original run of trains to not receive the DXS makeover until now. In total they've done 13 different Shinkalions, counting the 500 TYPE EVA they apparently don't have plans to rerelease. I've spoken to Mod Thana in DMs, and they've said there was no Shinkalion in this catalog. Seems they might have been confused, as this E3 would definitely be in there. |
