More TnA "FromJapan" Boxed Henry...

13 Replies, 18110 Views

Well, this is a teaser, but I will update soon, tonight hopefully. I received my first order "FromJapan" (the site). It was a combination of three auction wins. So here is what I have.

- TnA Gordon - Overall good condition, he needs some work though. The activation switch is stuck and his coupler is wrong.

- TnA Gordon - Very nice condition, nothing major wrong that I have noticed so far.

And finally...
- TnA Henry with the Box!! Not new in the box but the box is in good condition. It is missing the log car but has the logs so I think it is basically complete.

Oh and a DD51 and some cars. May need some help identifying what they came with (a set or individually, etc..)

More to come.

How can I get to the website? Can it ship to my country?
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

Ok. Here we go.

And finally... Here it is.. TnA Henry with Box...

So, in testing them, the DD51 is ok and runs. Gordon #1 works but needs to have the connector fixed and the activation thing is stuck. Should be able to get him going with no issues. Gordon #2 will need some troubleshooting but is in great shape. And Henry is working with a little glitch in the wheels. I will likely take him apart to have a peek. May put on a new gear and also may switch the tender cover for my other one since it has one side missing the gloss film.

Let me know what you think.

I am watching two TnA D10 sets and another Henry on Jauce now. Hoping with win those too. Big Grin

Hello. They ship worldwide I believe. I am in the US and I know Nigel's has ordered from there in the UK.

Here so the site.

Excellent arrivals for you Ripley, good job. I hope someone can shed more info on this DD51 also as I hadn't had luck in the past finding the actual info on it. I think I remember seeing it in a larger set with track but could not corroborate that.

I have been checking out your new agents web site and do like a couple things about it. I like the fact they they include in their listing items from 4 major auction sites in Japan. I also like that in the listing results preview it as a little icon in the upper right corner showing whether its a Buy It Now or Auction sale eliminating the time consuming need to click on an interesting item. What I don't like about browsing the Plarails is that you can't adjust your search for items ending the soonest or newly listed items which I love to use on the other sites. When you are browsing through 51,000 listings like they have instead of just 9000 for the Japan Auctions it comes in handy. But maybe they do and I just didn't see it. Also even though I checked off the "Used" search within my "Plarail" search, new ones were still showing up. Have any suggestion on navigating the Plarail section?

Thanks super. I unfortunately have not yet mastered the search yet. I ran into the same issues you mentioned. What I have been doing is finding the items on Jauce and then getting the URL or item number to put in on FromJapan. Sort of a round about way but worth it for me to same money on the fees. I have only viewed th site on and iPhone and iPad not a desktop so I may not be seeing the full site potential. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ripley

I liked the idea of them listing all of the items in the four places in one spot and thought that it may be easier to find something one wants especially hard to find or rare items with 50,000 results.
I have to admit i tend to use Jauce for searchs too at the moment just as Mr Ripley does, but that's primarily because the From Japan search includes retailers as well as auctions, although you can de-select those.

I'm not sure about the 'ending soonest' etc... options that you get in Jauce I don't recall seeing those in From Japan yet, but I'll have a look around Smile

The livestock and container car appear to be together. The salt van is most likely from a TOMY Henry, and no words on the tanker and caboose.
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.
