As some of you know the parcel fairy arrived last Friday, poor little guy was loaded down with what must be the biggest box yet.

I won't bore you all with the 'N gauge' stuff as I know there's little interest in it, but there were some nice PlaRail type items which may interest some of you. To start with as well as my Museum special there were a couple of other special editions which I'll start with;

Firstly we have a 485 PlaRail shop exclusive;

I've not tried it on track yet, just not had the time mate, but I don't think they will the clearance is at least as good a Tomy, it just looks less as the bodies are slightly bigger scale than a Tomy. I'll see if I can find a Tomy 485 to put side-by-side with the Sega.

The little wheels are 'dummy' wheels, the real ones are the big grey ones, just like on Tomy and PlaRail Advance

I know some of you may have been wondering why it's been such a long time since I last posted on this thread, but frankly I know a lot of people (like AC ) aren't interested in anything non-PlaRail so I didn't want to hog any bandwidth with posts people don't want to see.

However in my latest shipment I had something I had to share with you simply because its so cool and I've never seen one before, so here it is a "Hitec Super Linear Shuttle", basically a forerunner to the current Tomy Linear Liner I would assume. It seems to work on a similar principal, track with permanent magnets, but then seems to use pulses of power to push the shuttle round the track. Enjoy!

I'm not sure of its age to be honest, I know it was described as un-used 'display stock' hence the faded box lid. I've had a brief look inside (was a big parcel yesterday lol) and it all appears to be there as there's no empty slots or anything.

If there's interest I'll post some more pictures, have to say it is a big set though, the box is huge, about 20" x 15" x 4" and weighs considerably more than I thought it would. On the plus side I got it for less than 2,000 yen so...

i would love to see at least the train and some track, if you can.

there may be a copyright date under the train, like the thomas range has.
