Sorry, except for what you guys show here about them I don't know much about Transformer characters and the movies and since I didn't see the word or anything related to the franchise on the box but it did say "Robot" I thought maybe it was one of those new fangled robotic Robots.

All good sir! These are 3rd Party manufacturers that reproduces the Transformers robot. Hence no Transformer trademark. I was hesitant to buy them but wow, they are much better built and look, and large scale from what Hasbro has made.
