Tomy Store just opened in my City

11 Replies, 11868 Views

I just find out there is an authorized Tomy dealer opened a store in the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Their range is somewhat limited but it has all the style of tracks available including some the ones that are out of stock in Hobby Search.

In terms of prices, they seem to be cheaper than ebay as they charge Canadian Dollars for obvious reason. however, trains and train set are bit pricey. They charge $50 Canadian for one set of train and $90 for the freightcar set that comes with the cargos. If anybody wants the address, let me know.

So it's a store containing all of Tomy's current toy ranges in Canada, as well as some imported ranges sold in Japan? Or is this more focused on Plarail?

only plarail and diecast tomy cars/buses. They got the one where you control the train with the whistle.

Holy Cow!!! Can I move in with you Leyland?

Is this a stand alone Tomy store or a Toy store that is authorized to sell Tomy products?

Wouldn't it be neat if.......[Image: pondering-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon.gif]
there would be a Plarail Trackmaster war and if its true that Trackmaster/Fisher Price will take over WorldWide sales that Plarail fights back and starts to open stores in other country's?

Oh, wow. Do you know the name of the store? I'd love to find more details, as well as photos, since you (apparently) know the address. Do you think it opened because of this site?

I am off on Wednesday, I will see if I can go there again. It is located near Steeles and Kennedy Road (Market Village is the name of the mall). The store manager said his store is authorized to sell Tomy products and not an official tomy store. His store sells other Japanese related items.

Also he told me the old double crossover R-15 has continue.

Sorry for the long delay as I had been extremely busy outside work. I managed to visited the store today and purchased R-7 and and R21 (hopefully I can finally finish my train layout. I had been procrastinating). I bought 1 pack each and cost me (including tax) $27.1 in Canadian currency.

The store is located at 4390 Steeles Avenue East Unit H3, Markham, Ontario. The owner said he does online shipping but is currently limited to North America only. I guess it has something to do with the licensing agreement.

The website is http://www.tokyopapa.com
