I Don't Know Why! Part 3: Hokutosei Sleeping Car Set

I don't know why I bought this one...

I had another moment of weakness because there have been so little for me to buy lately that "I JUST HAD TO BUY SOMETHING!!!". Since I already had all of the engines and coaches in this set I don't know why I bought this one. Granted what I already had was piecemeal from several purchases to make the set. I was quite surprised and thrilled when getting this set as I have never had the box before and it included the 8, yes 8, Playkids that came with it. Even though the set has been opened I don't believe the train was ever used as everything is in mint condition. And it included the often missing upper berth in the one sleeping car that was missing from the ones I have had and never found to acquire. All in all, even though I don't know why I bought it at the time, I am very happy I did as it is like new.

nice one, super. that was one of the first plarail sets i bought, found online locally which i won for $20NZD, also with all 8 plakids and the upper berth. one of the more elaborate sets i think, given everything opens and there are so many options for placement.
i often use it for storage of extra plakids that dont have their own trains to live in.
