Received a small package from Japan yesterday and I don't know why I bought this one. It is not the type of train I normally purchase. I think I had a moment of weakness because there have been so little for me to buy lately that "I JUST HAD TO BUY SOMETHING!!!".
The Enoden 500 100th Anniversary Wrapping.
I don't know what exactly attracted me to this Tram but I loved the look of the rounded edges and the shortness of each unit. I also liked the wrapping which wasn't based on a cartoon but more so related to Tomys Anniversary. If it wasn't for the additional wrapping I would have never been interested in the regular Enoden 500. I was really surprised to find that the trailing vehicle opened up which I didn't know about. Not only does it open up, I was surprised to see that 3 playkids sat sideways looking out the windows rather than two of them facing each other like most Plakid coaches. Does anyone know if Playkids came with this set new? The ones pictured are from another set.
