Just arrived from Japan's Hobby Search and newly released...Loves Fun Train Series Nikko Moude Spacia (The Golden Train) When I first saw this for pre-order a few months back I wasn't too interested in it but the more I looked at it the more the golden color scheme grew on me. I was very fortunate to get the last pre-order in a couple of weeks ago and now its here. I am surprised that it doesn't have the upgraded AA chassis as this still has the "C" battery type which I am guessing all the previous Spacia's have but I am not complaining as no trains that we have looks so golden running the rails. Pure Gold Baby!!!!

Now that is one very nice locomotive, love the colour scheme and I for one am happy to hear it still uses the older 'C' type chassis. From the loco's I've got I've found they seem to run much quieter and smoother than any of the other Tomy chassis/engine combinations and would prefer them anytime

older "c" chassis all the way. I can use the Mr. Motorman with it.

For me the other advantage of the 'c' chassis is the longer battery life and the extra weight the driving car obtains from the heavier battery. Helps with the traction

My jaw dropped seeing the photos in the first post.
