To be vintage or not to be vintage?

I own a Duck from 1996. I remember a Tomy Oliver that was rare. Is this rare?

Hi while it is a lovely engine and in great condition it is not as rare as Oliver, I find allot of Ducks in lots and on ebay but very few Olivers (it does happen though ) It seems like the are 4-5 Ducks for every Oliver. It was either because he was not a popular loco back when he was available or that they produced allot less.
Tomy date almost all their products with the year they were first released or produced in Japan, so every Plarail/Motor Road and Rail Thomas says 1992, and every Duck says 1996, even when there are clear indications of it being made later.

I don't particularly understand the meaning of what vintage is, personally.

I would call older than 20 years vintage, others may have a different interpretation

Well, it's older than me, so I count it vintage. Ucwepn, I can't believe how in rare it is!!! Darn!! Thought I had a valuable train for once.
