Need a little assistance on this set??

Hey all. I saw this one a few weeks back, but the seller was asking quite a bit for it. I waited and it ended with no bids. They also had another lot with engines in it. I was looking at that one too but again too much $$ for me. That one ended, and they relisted twice. Well today i received a reply back and got the deal done for both lots and since the seller was only about 40 min away they only charged $10 to ship, and there is quite a bit.

So here is the lot with my questions:

- What is the set?
- Does it look complete?
- Rare?

And here are the engines. I will have a closer look once they arrive but from the pictures they look in decent condition.

Let me know your thoughts on these.. Total including shipping was $75 US. Thanks all.

I had seen this listing several times. Looks like there have been some wheel swaps on the orange and brown train engines. I am not totally sure but the N700 in the foreground looks to be a remote controlled train but don't see a remote, maybe I am wrong. Looks to be two complete 3 unit N2 Shinkansen Max's. Another N700 with 3 middle coaches and a Marine Liner. You don't normally see the Japanese trains listed on the US Ebay.

Yep, that's why I was a little shocked. And to find out the were so close to me too. Any ideas on what the set may be? It too looks to have a remote.
Looks like there is various pieces in this lot and...oh yea...there the remote is. I have seen that station many times on YouTube Videos but can't remember the exact name.

Oh...here it is...

"Plarail big Dome station "

Which train does the remote go to do you think? Thanks
The remote controlled train is the white one in the lower part of the picture. The black square on the top of the middle coach is the receiver I think. It also looks to have a switch which could be for sound and there may be a working headlight.

I don't think your link is the station you have. See the video in my post above. Its called the Big Dome Station.

Got it. Thanks for the keen eye on that one. I will look a bit more and see what it is when I get it.

For the station, you are correct that was the wrong one. Your video looks right and I updated the link in the post above to be the right one.

I found this one too. Remote controlled n700 is what I searched and sure enough,

I wonder if there are any of the little data chips included.

Any ideas what the "volcano" looking piece is in this photo?

That is Mt Fuji, I had one of those but can't remember the proper name of the set. I did have one side of the box tht came with the one I had pictured below. The box was strange as it was printed backwards and the lower part upside down. I believe there should be a thread talking about this but can't seem to find it..

EDIT:
Ah...here it is...JR700 Type Nozumi Set http://www.plarail-japan.com/am_1501_700nozomi-set/

I will post some pics tonight or tomorrow and link to the thread in this one. It is a massive box, 30lbs and probably 30x30x30 box.. More to come...

Edit....
New thread...
