Tomy Plarail Eco (Green Plastic Tracks)

I've been wondering for some time about these green tracks billed as 'Eco' that I've been seeing for sale by Japanese vendors:



I did a search on here and didn't find anything, so if this has been covered before, I apologise (but not a lot). Anyway, I ended up at this news release on the Takara Tomy website, which pretty much explains it all:

Good for them, although I don't fancy the possibility of flourescent green trains or wheels in future products

Seems like a good idea for the company, especially since it is quite large!
