Ah. I'm a big 999 fan myself! Technically Maetel and Tetsuro did not sit in the observation coach, but it's nice that the set can be expanded with just run-of-the-mill brown coaches.

It's a shame that none of the other trains were ever produced in Plarail form. I've seen a custom 444, however.

I really like the 999 too however I don't have the characters. I always thought the face on the boy was weird because I am not sure if the long line on the bottom of his face is like a double chin line and his mouth is the shorter arc in the middle is his mouth or the longer line is his mouth and the small arc is his nose.
What kind of time limit are you always talking about? |

I really like the white DD51 and the coach is one of the more unusual ones. It even has the inside detailed which I am not sure any other has. Not the plakid type details but more on the realism side. There are tables with dishes on them. There are also several posts that look to be for the placement of some type of passengers to slip over but have never seen one for it. Sort of like the posts that were in the earlier versions of the Disney Western Railway coaches for figures to be placed over. Don't ya just love those packages from Japan?
