real or custom?

im calling custom, because FP would never paint the whole face, or if they did they wouldnt do the eyes and leave it with no pupils.

I agree for sure Sunhuntin. I can see the red of the original boiler plate through that opening under his face. The motor switch and the coupling are also the exact same gold color which wouldn't happen in a real model right? And you are right about the face. Even if the face was to be gold they still would have had Thomas's black eye brows with white eyes and black pupils. If it was real I think we would have seen more of them since the video was uploaded 2 tears ago.

Custom.
I know exactly what paint was used too...
It's the very same that I used on my Gold RC flipface Thomas!!
Great coverage and strength in its coating, but not even close to the hard glass shine of the true gold leaf spray that has acetate in itSad and nothing like the factory application of a shiny Gold Thomas!! Smile
Play nice & have fun!!Smile

Hey, I once made one too! Unfortunately, I didn't dissasemble the model when painting it, which led to it being destroyed.

the only thing I am confirm with custom paint job is that it may wreck the motor.
Custom (obviously).

It seems to have been inspired by the Wooden Railway version, albeit with no pupils, golden roof and chassis, and lack of detail.
