Here's one I neglected to get in 2012...
It has redesigned Annie & Clarabelle sticker faces, but the Thomas was nothing special so, I passed on it several times and watched 3 linger on Target's shelf until they were finally gone...I regretted it as soon as they were, and just looked last night to see if I could find one to buy now...
WOW!! I guess I should have bought when I had the chance Sad

holy cow... ive got one, not boxed but never been used. sell it to you for $495.99? [j/k. i dont sell, only buy] i only saw it once, in australia. dont recall seeing it in new zealand at all. i only bought it because of annie and clarabel.

I have seen that listing and only assumed that the seller wasn't a collector and thought he had something special when he didn't. I had no idea it was that special.

I customized mine lol glazed the coach windows with plastic and put an led and other things on thomas. Where's my time machine so I can go back to when we thought Trackmaster would never change Tongue

Well I certainly can't see anything that special in a paper sticker that would warrant the price. Now if they were molded 3D faces now that would be something to holler about. So is this just a regular Thomas engine with normal Annie & Clarabel coaches and the only difference is paper sticker faces?

I think they'll have to be BNIB to fetch near what this is listed for though...honestly this is just a gouging by a seller who knows they have the market momentarily cornered...
But this future pricing scenario was already discussed and predicted about the 2012 limited run of those re-issued redesigned TM1 engines that came and went only to disappear as the Revolutions replaced them 6 months ago in a thread here on BPT by Trevor379 and myself...
Those 2012 Trackmaster trains, by any production run standards, are THE rarest because it was shortest and briefest run ever!!
