Got this need HELP!

I bought a lot of trains off of the dreaded ebay and it has a talk'n'action percy in there which is not currently working please help! [Image: attachment.php?aid=1333]
Eeesh...that terminal that connects to the fuse looked a bit worse for wear...Sad
There is a YouTube video that will show step by step how to repair that area, but you'll need a second for parts.

I did think i could use a tna thomas and swap the to on the carriges so disconnect annie wire it up to percy and swap the carrige tops as from what i can see the carriges are mostly the same
Was this on eBay US? I have been searching for one as well. Good luck on your repairs, let us know how it goes.

Unfortunatly the coach cannot be saved it seems as if its been set a light at one point, the percy however works but the noises are very faint seems the more power i give to it the louder it becomes mabey the speaker on the engine has blown

Btw it was ebay uk and ebay is very evil because as soon as i have money its staight on there.

Unfortunatly the circuit board is in a complete state so percy may never work if anyone knows somewhere or somthing i can do with him please tell me

Lol...yes as I said earlier, I don't recommend working on these particular models.Sad

If it does end up where you can't fix him, don't throw the train away. Put him in a parts box for possible replacement parts for other non-working trains.

Update he can move now but i need a new speaker as the old ones blown anyone know where to get one
i truly hope you can resurrect this one. i dont know where to get a speaker from... maybe an electronics store?
