I have seen many these Police Coaches being sold new by themselves on the Japan Auctions, in fact we purchased one and always wondered what they are from as I didn't know they were part of a set or that the set was really not a train...now I know...

What a coincidence. Will you be doing an unboxing video? Are there a lot of these Adventure Asphalt Island Series sets? We also have a full size Ambulance coach.
Yes I will do a triple Adventure Asphalt Island Unboxing video when the all of the sets I ordered arrive. I would really like to see television show all these trains and vehicles are from! yes there are 7 or 8 sets the ambulance car is from a four piece train in this series.
Wow...7 to 8 sets, would like to see a list of those. Anxious to see your video showing the 3 you have coming. So these are from a TV show in Japan?
Nice video on the E231's. I had no idea, or better yet, never looked closely enough at them, that the people inside the coaches are Pla-Kids and they are pictures of actual Pla-Kids you can find. Is this true of all the door opening releases from Tomy? For some reason, in my head I am picturing no Pla-Kids people in a coach.
The door gimmick trains that were released before Plakids were a thing, had cartoon looking people standing in the doorways, since the introduction of Plakids I am pretty sure they have been standard on these door gimmick trains.
Yes they had a TV show in the 90's which featured these vehicles and trains I am still trying to find footage.
I count 8 sets total. counting the ones i have on the way I own 4 so I am halfway there.
I can compile a list .
Cool video
That Aeon exclusive Plakid guy looks to have blue bib overalls on. Never seen one like him as I have never seen that tan colored Fireman Plakid with the gold helmet.
Wow Tomy even had their own TV cartoon show about their toys, neat. Let us know if you find any episode videos as it would be interesting to see.
Wonder what "Potto" means on the police vehicle or maybe its a character name in the cartoon.

I think Potto is the character name as there is another set that has a similar vehicle called Zeto
