SL unboxing Need help too!

Hi I need help locating a working any condition bird car for cheap as i just need the inner workings.

nice pieces geri. what a shame the bird car isnt working. they sometimes cme up jauce as there was a percy set that came with it, the gorilla and a couple of other zoo cars.

I didnt want to have to buy another Percy set and ruin a new bird car if I could get a used cheap one since I just need the insides

i will keep a look out on jauce. sometimes the cars come up on their own. might be easier and cheaper to find than the older one like what you have

Well thats disappointing. Is the mechanics that technical that it can't be repaired?

I can probably glue the piece I will try that but I dont know if it will hold as it is an activation tab that has constant pressure on it from a spring!

That D51 498 is awesome with those smoke deflectors. I have not seen or heard of one before either new or used. I have seen the D51 200 and a different D51 498 but both those have the full deflectors. Will have to keep an eye out for one of these. Very neat.
