Originally I had no intentions on ever buying this Disney Dream Railway Electrical Bridge Set as all I wanted was the train and wasn't interested in the rest. Thought I would just keep my eyes on the Japan Auctions until I saw a used train for sale by itself as I love the color and would look good with his brother the red one. But when I just so happen to be looking at the new listings for the Japan Auctions and saw this new, in the box set, pop up for less than half the going price and, I couldn't believe it, it was listed as “Buy It Now”. Of course I snatched it up.
Will probably just sell the Musical Magical Lighted Bridge but I have had it cross my mind that it may be nice for the under the Xmas tree layout seeing as it may look good with all the white track I have. I think these may be the only white “A” & “B” sloped curved rails I have ever seen. Wonder why they just didn't have all the rails in the set white. Would have looked so much better. Don't know why they made the middle cars to look like passenger coaches from the outside but when you remove the top the inside is made for car transportation. Would have liked for them to have seats and some Disney Plakids made to sit in them. Oh well, sure can't complain as the price was terrific.
Also pictured are other items that have arrived from the UK, Japan and the USA. The 2 clear Subway tunnels and the 2 clear half subway tunnels are to be used, I hope, for station mods of the 2 different type Plarail Monorails. Always liked the look of the brown curved tunnel from the Discovery Kids F-Unit Train Set as it is a nice alternative from the plentiful green Tomy curved tunnels. The plastic stone faced curved arched bridge for the wooden Brio tracks will be easily modified for an elevated rail section. I had already an ample supply of the hard to find elevated rail piers but couldn't pass up the deal for these.
