Hi, I am new here, and in my other thread someone said they would like to see some pics of a mass bulk score I got, so here some of it is.

Mind you there is alot more not in the photo's like a full trackmaster zip and zoom logging set or something, as well as a massive cranky crane set with remote, tomy logging adventure and a few others.

There is more, so much blue track ... lot was for $300 except the other trains on the brown couch.

Running out of room, and not sure what I plan to do with all my doubles. triples etc of trains.

Most are in great condition, some have very hard stuck rubber tyres... that are like dried in, or something, and will take a long long time trying to pick the dried on rubber tyres off somehow.

The pic does not show it properly, but the rubber, is not soft, its more like glue dried on solid slicks lol

This is an awesome lot, congrats. May I ask where did you get into? I would love to win one like this to sift through all of the goodies.
My neighbour asked me, if I was going to go to the garage sale that was down the road, the people were moving oversea's, I laughed at the time and said what for... she said they are quite wealthy and never know what you might get... i was like meh lol..

That Saturday I was awake, like 6am, and for some reason at 8am, i wondered down there, too have a peak, it started at 8am, no one was there, and I saw all that and thought wow gee, and scored it all lol.

There is alot more, just cnanot be bothered taking pics, too lazy and not sure what I am going to do with some of it yet

wow, what a haul and a half!! that is incredible... instant collection!!

with the dried on tyres, if you can disassemble the engines and have the axle out its much easier. i usually use a pair of thin tweezers or a small flathead screw driver. fit it in the rim and turn the axle. should slowly pry the dry rubber out.

Hilarious...
"what for?" & "meh"...Smile
I think Forrest Gump summed that up with his "life's like box if chocolates" quoteBig Grin
Very nice haul!'
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
If you do get the axles out, try soaking them in a container of hot soapy water for a while to see if that will soften the old rubber up a bit. You can buy replacement tires from many sellers on Ebay.
Nice haul, even bigger than some of the bundles I've found in the recent past lol!

Now that is going to take some time to sort out and remedy and wear and tear on the loco's - have fun!! Big Grin
Happily collecting things all my life... Big Grin

wow thank you all for the replies Smile
yes we are going to do the suggestions on the tyres, never seen any so bad like on some of them.

Oh I have spent time going through the stuff, and never took much notice until ate tonight when I had some quiet time to myself, my loungeroom is soooooo full of tracks, bridges, trains, holy cow.

there were some other boxes I had not finished going through, and I found more trains lol... but I also found something interesting... and didnt know what it was..

there was a thomas train, that did not work, looks near new too, and its head moves completely full circle around inside, and has 2 different faces, based on what position it is in.

There was this remote control as well which makes thomas sounds, didnt think much of it, and then I found some sheds, pieces of it scattered inbetween a few different boxes... then with some research it turns out, its the RC Thomas Tidmouth sheds, one with the green cave and RC. After some research, and assembly, all the pieces are there and the remote controlled thomas train, that didnt work, least I thought it didnt, does work, using the RC! WoW just awesome.

There is 2 tidmouth trackmaster shed sets by looks of it, one is RC one and green cave, other has no RC smaller but has the brown cave.. I also have the brown cave, and thegreen turntable as well as red turntable, and only the 2 sides, 1 roof and 1 door for smaller tidmouth shed set, but RC one is full set.

I will try and take some pics maybe on the weekend, still trying to sort through everything and organize it all, what a chore that is in itself.

Didnt actually fully realize how much there is until going through it all and finding more stuff I didnt know was there.

I am so over the moon, and glad I actually went too have a sneak peak at the garage sale. Not something I usually care about or do, but that might change now lol.

Oh there was/is also tonnes of those damn little magnetic trains too.. my little girl loves them.

We are also going to mod some of the trains, with faster engines, too see how it goes.

I just cannot believe how much stuff there is.

Oh does anyone know what that black and yellow train in, with stripes on it ?
