the long container car is basically like the long car carrier car released last year (I think).  it will be interesting to see how it performs at the Plarail cargo station.

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the opening of all Kyushu Shinkansen lines, the "shooting star Shinkansen" is now available on Plarail. You can write your wishes on the attached "wish and sticker", attach it to the second car, and run it. Pre-sale in the Kyushu area! Prior to nationwide sales, it will be sold in advance at some stores in the Kyushu area from October 14, 2021. (Excluding Okinawa Prefecture)

Except the "wish and sticker" and "shooting star" colours, it's actually another re-release of that Shinkansen.

Yup, another one.

These JR Kyushu Shinkansens must be very popular, because they are releasing and re-releasing them every now and then, with slight modifications - more cars, different colours, Mickey Mouse themed, now these special wishing stickers...

Suzukawa’s video on the new Dokidoki Mountain DX set and on the new set of freight cars. 



Now that I see it “live,” I’m even more disappointed with that “mountain,” which now consists of panels. There is no mountain! As I said before, it looks like something Mattel would produce. Pity...  And the “castle” at the top is somehow flat and unpresentable. 

Worst of all, it does not allow for the possibility of a different combination, e.g., joining two sets so that the train, instead of crashing down a sharp slope, descends another mountain. With previous Dokidoki sets, this was possible. Now, an element like this is hard to incorporate into the layout where you want to run some other Plarail trains as well, not just Thomas & Friends.
