Curious that the 'British' Thomas only stops the once on the green track that produces the screech of brakes, whereas the other two stop on the green track then a couple of times later on the blue track just after it... I wonder why that is?

Nigels, It was a malfunction... I investigated your ponderence last night...I tried out my other British TnA Thomas and he performed perfectly!! ...Stopped and screeched, and said all it's phrases... They are a finicky lot those TnA's, and as they age some don't read the Braille on the green tracks as consistently.

Yes, I've found the TnA's to be the most particular and delicate models ever made...some work great, some so/so, and others are rickety inconsistent breakdowns waiting to happen...the ones that work great though are AWESOME!!
