Unique(for me) purchase

Well, today at Target I broke down and bought a Take-and-Play talking Spencer! I already opened mine, but this is essentially what I got:


I usually don't go for the talking engines, but it doesn't look like there was a 2013 Spencer, and I was not going to settle for the crappier 2014/15 one! So I decided to go with the Talking Spencer. The tender is squatter and a bit less detailed, but I'll live with it! I'll post shots later of mine on the layout.

There was a previous version of talking Spencer in the larger style which also had the engine noise sound if you held the button down for a few secs . Still available if you know where to look....

Well, it was sort of an impulse buy when I saw it at Target. I might see if I can find the Pull-N-Zoom 2013 Spencer...
