Blue track bargain find!

10 Replies, 12768 Views

Hi all went for a run to some charity stores yesterday to do my regular thomas/hotwheels/transformers hunt and I found a great lot of TOMY track, for $5 there was some other non tomy stuff in the bag that I have no idea what they are hehe.

30 curves
6 Y points
6 1/2 straights
4 regular points
1 small bridge section (trackmaster?)

The non TOMY blue track I have quite a bit of now too Tongue

That bridge section is HIT toys. And you are one lucky duck to get that for 5$.
Proud owner of Tomy/Plarail trains. Cool
Hmmm...might we be thinking about re-doing the layout?
Not specifically thinking about it at the moment in fact my back aches just thinking about it haha. But I am always on the lookout for cheap extra track I want to try a tower one day haha

Now that I think about it, the Non-TOMY Blue tracks bear an uncanny resemblance to TrackMaster Revolution (Albeit with TOMY-like track joiners).

Hi, the joiners are slightly different to TOMY as the ends are curved so they are not interchangeable really, also what looks like sleepers on the side are lego type studs.
$5 is a great price ! There seems to be a few pieces of grey colour, Take along / Take n play track and adaptors. Also, I noticed in there, some blue colour track, made by Tomis, which has the sleepers rather than a solid base.
