I don't think so but my old brain may be playing tricks on me again as it can't think of one. Anyone else want to chime in?
Therealblack64YT was actually quoting Nigels, but anyway, the only Flying Scotsman has been the Mattel TM2/TMR (or whatever you want to call it) abomination.
The full quote did ask if it was a Fisher Price monstrosity

Surely with a face if standard PlaRail Thomas range, without a face if they put it into the 'Real' range, maybe both versions if they have any common sense as they could use the same tool set and just produce it either with a face or with a smoke box cover. If they had any sense they would do a version with both fronts offered as options in the box, maybe magnetically attached then they could please both parties and offer another upgrade path to 'real' trains. In fact why not do it for the entire PlaRail Thomas range then they could sell to two distinct markets with one product.
I'm surprised that they picked a twin tender version, wasn't that only implemented as such in the USA due to the longer than average distances?
Happily collecting things all my life...
