A compact tandem roller similar to a CAT CB-224. Apart from their smaller size in real life, I chose this type because my larger scale rollers (except a Born to Play Roley) are all single-drums with rubber-tyred cabs; one even shares its whole rear with a front loader. I felt recreating one of these might be a tad more original.

For articulation, it uses the same wooden steering joint I made for the dumper. Although I neglected to paint it during construction this time, it's still stiff enough even without the dried paint in the middle. The roller is not very stable when making a sharp turn in a certain direction, meaning it can easily overturn.

Rather than using gold and yellow markers like the first two machines, it was painted acrylic in a similar shade to the one I mixed for Benny. The black parts were copied from what seems to have been a prototype for the Bruder toy, since the produced version is all-yellow and (IMO) not as aesthetically pleasing. The front drum is a bit rough compared to the rear one due to the thickness of cardboard used for the discs. Combined with some unintentional weathering, I like how it gives the illusion the roller has been put to good use. The side vents and headlight bars were made with the same silicone net I used for the cab on the skid-steer, which (again) could be helpful in several other applications. The only details I don't really like are the simplified forks (which are meant to recess into the drums at the bottom) and the current ROPS bar.
