So this one was not from the Plarail site itself, but on Tomica site instead.
On March 2025, we will be seeing an introduction of the Tomica-Plarail "Vehicle Block" line.
There will be 9 sets introduced for this line, but I'll focus on two sets with Plarail vehicles for now.
The first is yet another "CLASS 923 Dr. YELLOW", retails for 1,540 yen.
It is a non-powered end car, with 6 pieces (One base with wheels, one nose, and four body pieces). The build should be simple enough. The base has a hook just like normal Plarail cars, should you want to connect it to an existing Plarail train.
The other is "TOMICA PLARAIL BLOCK ENTRY SET", which includes a map/instruction, 4 vehicles and 2 Plarail cars modeled after Plarail's Red Stream train. As previously, you can hook a Plarail motor car in front if you like to. The building steps should be the same. The set cost 4,950 yen.
From my quick test I believe there is a small chance this system might be compatible with the existing Lego brick system that Lego and many thrid-parties are using. If it isn't (and it's likely that it isn't) then that would be a disappointment.
