Fun fact: in certain foreign dubs (including my country's), David Hobbscap has been voiced by other people who have to do with cars, sports or commentary besides his namesake and original VA:
- In France and Quebec, he's named after and played by ex-F1 racer Jacques Villeneuve.
- In Denmark, he's named Jens Vinterdæk and played by Jens Winther Junior (a journalist).
- In Hungary, he's played by Gábor Bazsó (co-founder of car magazine Totalcar).
- In Israel, he's played by Eli Ildis (a general sports commentator who happened to be a former taxi driver). His surname was also changed to Tassa, a colloquial term for "hubcap"; likely also a reference to Dudu Tassa, whose real name is also David.
