The E235, like all modern Plarail trains in the S series, came packed with a cardboard collector card, which contains some facts about the train in Japanese. I can't read it of course, but it's still a nice touch.

You could paste this into an online translator and see what you can make of the result!

E235系はE231系に代わる山手線の車両として登場しました。「お客さま、社会と
コミュニケーションする車両」をキーワードに、前面の大きな窓や表示装置で「人と人、
人と社会をつなぐ情報の窓」を表現し、居住空間を広く感じられるオープンなデザイン
が特徴です。最後尾の行先表示器には、走り出した後に植物の絵柄が表示される
ようになっており、絵柄は毎月季節に合わせて変化します

Since the Yamanote Line is circular, trains never need to reverse while in service, leaving the back destination sign on trains unused. Instead of a destination, JR uses the screen to display images of different Japanese plants, a different one for every month. The sticker sheet gives you all twelve, allowing you to customize the train for whatever month you'd like.

Each display alternates between two images of the same flowers every five seconds. They are only shown as the train pulls out of the station, the rest of the time the rear board shows Yamanote Line and the destination the same as the front one, as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8x7Tpcv21F0
