I got a DD51 to make into Derek the diesel. I got this in an eBay auction for £3.20 in total with shipping it was £6.70 it was sold as spares/repairs and It was 'broken' well I replaced the coupler that broke the bid was intense as one bidder put a 2.99 bid but I came in last second with a 3.20 bid so I won. I jump started the motor and it runs like never before

in the inside it says J08 meaning this one was made in 2008

why am I modifying this unit well it is because I want Derek and also due to its cheap price I can do that. It may fetch a high price on eBay but if I really wanted another one I will just get the 2018 or the 2022 reissue of the model but for now i don't need it.
