Now that's clever; I'm familiar with the motor he used, that's one of the Tamiya Mini4WD model car motors, a type I actually reccomend for modding or replacing Plarail motors if you want higher speeds than a stock motor can provide, as they are built for speed but also match the dimensions of the standard electric motor used in Plarail stock [and F-P Trackmaster, if you think any of those need speed mods...]
This however is next-level, using the twin-axle motor and a modded gearbox for 4-wheel drive on a Plarail loco, that's absolutely superb
