No more track packs?

Why doesn't Fisher-Price sell TM2 track packs any more? Now there are (AEG) engines, greatest moments, sets, multipacks etc. But no track packs. They used to produce different track packs (8 straight tracks pack, turnouts and switches, tracks of different lengths pack, etc.). Now that's gone. Why is that so? Tracks can only be purchased with sets, which usually contain very few straight tracks or none at all. Why can't only tracks be bought any more? Old TM2 track packs are hard to find these days.

By the way, none of the new (AEG) sets contain curved tracks to make a 90-degree turn. All sets contain only curved tracks of which 6 make a full circle, and in order for the train to turn at a right angle there should be tracks of which 8 make a full circle. And there are no such in the new AEG sets. There were nice TM2 curved tracks packs (of different lenghts) with which it was possible to make a 90-degree turn. Today they don't make them anymore...
