Sorry that it's been a while, but I hope everyone has had a great holiday season over the past few weeks! I've enjoyed time off of school and spent time with my family. I also have some updates! The J70 arrived, and for Christmas I got a Hornby J15, which is also really cool! They both run really well, though the J70 occasionally stutters (I'm using really old track at the moment, so that's probably why).
I have worked have worked on Thomas a bit (though I don't yet have something to show for him). I also have built some more rolling stock, including two 7 plank open wagons, an LNER 12 ton goods van (which I may add a vent to to make it like the N Gauge ones I had), and another fish van. I also mostly painted the first fish van I made and made a start on the final coat for my brake van.
Edit: I also got one of the Bachmann 1 Plank Wagons for Christmas! I think these are some of my favorite stock that Bachmann does for their Thomas range, and I definitely want to pick up the other two at some point!
Another thing I started from scratch is an LNER Fruit Traffic Office Van, which is something that ran on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway, although I didn't get very far with it yet.
I really need to take more pictures! I thought I had a picture for pretty much everything I just talked about, but I could only find four. Next time, I'll try to take pictures of my process for building the wagon kits (I was going to when I made the 2nd fish van, but I only remembered once it was all glued together).
That's all for now!
