Great find, FD. Does anyone recognise what train that might be? The freight cars have transparent roof/side pieces which open up.

If we follow the trail we end up at a website showing the patents, designs, and trademarks published weekly by the Japan Patent Office, for example this one from June 2021 (with the result released in November 2021):
