All great guesses and I suppose they all could be modified in a way to achieve the similar result. The Hangars on the Layout now severs as a similar purpose. Not a Quonset Hut, Airplane Hangar or anything to do with a Sewage Plant 
I will try to find time to start a first modification and snap a picture of that. I first have to have a test piece to make sure it will all work.
