This fellow painted everything to match even all the stations and signal towers. He must have a paint booth or something. And the time it must have took for all the track and the masking off of the accessories...just amazing. He must have put at least 2 or three coats on the tracks and maybe a coat or 2 of clear don't you think? As it would be easy to see the bright blue show up on the rubbed off parts of the rails but I don't see any. And he painted a lot of Fex track which had to take time. I would think that with the movement of each piece and the snapping in parts would surely show chipped paint but I don't see any. Would like to know how he prepped the tracks before painting. His wiring is fantastic too. He even has lighting on some of his trains like head lamps and inside the coaches. More can be learned from his Web Page.
Thats how we, ahem...me...got hooked but I blame Ebay. First had a very small circle track for Thomas, wanted to make it a little longer so I bought a handful of track used from Ebay. Had to add a few building and turnout, back to Ebay. Buy a huge lot of track and accessories......and again, and again....its all Ebays fault, I am not to blame![[Image: shaking-head-no-smiley-emoticon.gif]](http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/no/shaking-head-no-smiley-emoticon.gif)
