Yes, I must say, I do feel concerned, that the price of the body from Shapeways could scupper the entire project 
I'm in the process of consulting further on this aspect and hopefully, some way might be found, that will lower the price.
The size of the body and the amount of material used, are what is keeping the price too high, I'm afraid
