The seller in question is a long-standing and prolific buying / re-selling merchant who doesn't specifically keep stuff for any longer than it takes him to list it and sell it, and doesn't waste time on details such as cleaning, etc.
I will repeat what I wrote above:
"If the paint was changing from green to blue as a result of prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, we'd expect to see marked yellowing of the unpainted plastic, but there is no evidence of yellowing in these examples."
Just my opinion of course. I will also post pictures of this latest acquisition sometime in the next day or two.
