Some cattle van info:
The medium brown van with cattle inside has been available in normal Plarail sets since the 1970s


I've seen it with yellow and red wheels before


James came with the dark brown cattle van for many years, from his introduction to the 2003 redesign in Japan and from 1998 to the HiT Toys era of Trackmaster elsewhere. Later on it was used with other engines, I believe Fisher Price used it with Skarloey later on


The light brown with white roof comes from the new version of the giggling freight cars set


The blue one was available with Splatter in the HiT Toys era


And there were a ton of versions done for the various Thomas wagon packs they were doing a few years ago, too many to fit in one post
