Thank you, Off The Rails. I like this type of trains too. They look good and pretty realistic as Plarail models. In my opinion some Shinkansens, for example, do not: it's hard to make a model of such long cars in Plarail dimensions... But smaller trains, like Enodens and many other trams and commuters, look realistic enough. Although, the green color on the new types (500 & 1000) is a bit too dark, but the models look really great.
Tomy produced many types of trams, old and modern, but I think this is one of the oldest. I don't think this one represents any Enoden train type, though. They just made a general mold and colored the models differently. So we have trams (yellow, green), Enodens, trains in Hakone Tozan color scheme and maybe some more - based on the same streetcar model.
I found online only one older (real) Enoden train with bow collector (as this model has), but it's a solo electric car and it looks different than this model (even the bow collector is different). They obviously tried to make it look like Enoden 300 (they even put the real Enoden 300 photo on the box), but it's not Enoden 300; later they made a correct model of this train. Nevertheless, the Enoden Tram is cool, and it rings!
