A word about this new plarail one-speed motor... I didn't change anything on my trams (except the coupler on one of them, of course), and the first tram's motor was wery quiet when I put the battery and hold it in my hand. On tracks, it is rather noisy, I suppose it's because of the vibrations. I don't care, it reminds me on real tram sound. I like it.
But the second tram is not noisy at all! No vibrations here, it runs nice and quiet.
I actually like this one-speed motor. Yes, it's too fast (for trams), but it's very good, the trams are running smoothly, and the battery lasts long. The on-off switch could be less stiff. In general, I'm very happy.
