Now I don't remember if we have discussed these Special Monorails in more detail in the past as the 3 Hanging Monorails released of these are my favorite. Now I am more curious as I don't think I looked into the 'Plarail Connect Town' clue before.
The 3 Monorails released in this line are the Blue one mentioned, the Red Emergency Monorail and the Yellow Construction Monorail all have 2001 on the sticker and 2001 Tomy on the undercarriage. Also curious that on the Plarail Connect Town sticker there are 3 octagon dots...red/blue and yellow.
My first thoughts were that these may have been a Plarail Club Exclusive but checking Ripleys fantastic Plarail Catalog collection in the Collection Forum LINK, I see that the 3 first appeared in the 2002-2003 General Retail Release Catalog. Can anyone translate any additional information from the catalog page?
