This is a RunCam 2 which is a few years old now. They were designed specifically for RC and a lot of racing drone folks use them because they have a high frame rate (60fps at 1080p) which is good for fast movement.

You can also run it at a higher res of 1440p (2k) but the frame rate drops to 30fps.

That's an awesome setup. He put the camera where the battery compartment is and put the battery in a troublesome truck. Much better than what I was doing - pushing a carriage from behind. I will absolutely make this setup. Also gives you the option to overpower your engine with additional battery power.
