How To: EASILY Create a Double-Hooked Works Unit Coach

Here in the UK, the only version of the unmotorised olive-green works coach I've ever seen is the one with hooks on both ends - it came in the standard Dodge & Splatter box. I've modified a couple the other way so that they have regular couplings by simply putting them on Annie/Clarabel chassis.

The works coach that came with the D&D snowplough set differs in that it was a greener green and had WORKS UNIT written on it.

Confusingly, the green Works Unit coach that came in the Trackmaster Trucks and Track pack Station Repair Cars wasn't a works coach at all (3 windows each end), it was a regular coach with windows and doors right along its length.

That TMR hook coupling is news to me though. I've just checked through about 25 TMR wagons and none of them have the version you've got, but none of them are the blue van, so that maybe explains it. Do you know where this blue van came from?
