Wow, you are really into this new hobby Nigels. This new Printer looks so easy to put together out of the box and well made. It also looks really tall and so quiet. Are you able to print larger and taller with this one?
For sure yes on all questions, the build area is 300mm x 300mm x 400mm whereas the Ender 3 is 220mm x 220mm x 250mm so that means you are talking a build height of almost 16" with width and depth of 12" as opposed to around 10" tall with width and depth of around 8.5" so in other words it can print wider than the Ender 3 can print tall
But its more than just the build size, that was a secondary consideration, the main reasons for the upgrade apart from the cleaner lines and strong construction were the improved electronics and other convenience features which should give better quality and more print reliability long term. Of course at the moment I'm only going through the bedding in period, but its all learning
