Mattel Talking Engine repairs.

There is usually a small switch under the wheels, I believe on this one it is in the rear portion. It is sort of a safety switch so that the train has to be flat on the track before the motor can engage. To test it the switch is the issue you can put a small wire or something metal between the switch leads or wires and see if it works. I have removed the switch completely in the past and just left the two wires connected together.
