Looks like you have quite the plan set up for Plarail T-Boy 
. I always go for the new releases instead of re-makes so I would go for your Flying Scotsman for sure as a plan. But to satisfy all...I would go for a plan that has Plarail releasing as sets of 3 Trains at least annually or bi-annually similar to the 3 releases above.
One of the 3 would be a whole new character as Ashima is
One would be a re-make but with a brand new designed coach or rolling stock piece added as Caitlin is
And one that would be a re-make but with an entirely new look and brand new designed coaches or rolling stock as Rosie is
