Not mu first Biwako...probably at least my tenth one that has passed through here. I agree about the coach which I believe is exclusive to the Biwako. I liked them so much that when the train was first offered here in the States fulfilled by Amazon I bought 5 sets just to get 4 extra coaches then sold the engines and tenders as new. The thing with these coaches is that they weren't made for a rear coupling. Luckily...the chassis under the shell was already equipped with the coupling post so all I had to do was modify the rear of the shell using a Dremel to nibble away a bit of plastic to accommodate it. I like how they turned out.
Hey...I just noticed my rear coach is missing its drum head sticker....what?
