I got it!...I got it! I got the best idea for you Mr Ripley....cut out a 4' x 8' section of the floor in that room...run trains in between the floor joists...cover the whole 4' x 8' area with a clear Solid Polycarbonate plastic and waa la...a beautiful train layout that will look fabulous especially with lighting...a room that can have a layout and still have room for furniture...and...this is the best of all... the dust problem, which is the bane of every Layout, is solved forever.....to add an extra touch...you could cut out the ceiling in the room below it for a great effect in 2 rooms...this is going be glorious...can't wait for you to get started...
