Ok, I finally got round to uploading a small video of the 'balls' in action, I meant to do this ages ago, but well got a lot on
But what probably prompted it is my latest purchase, some 'EL Wire' and controller. This little bundle of wire is 3 metres long (about 10' in old money) and cost all of $3.01
However the best part of this gizmo is that it is very flexible and can be bent to any shape you want, in fact some people use it to decorate clothing (think nerds and comicon ) but one use that springs to mind is to use it to make miniature 'neon signs' for you railways...
It can be gotten in various colours or lengths, can display permanently on or flashing as can be seen in this video. The controller takes two AA batteries to power it...
